Principal Dave Bogart laughing with students

"I chose to teach because I wanted to become a meaningful inspiration in a child’s life. Everyone remembers that teacher who makes a positive impact."

–Alycia Ruiz-Numkena, Westar 4th Grade Teacher

Over the past 30 years, I have been a part of the growth and development of Liberty Elementary School District. Here, we take great pride in collaboration, innovation, and integrity. Here, we take care of each other. I love coming to work everyday, leading a school and serving a community that has grown as I have. Each day, teachers, support staff and administrators work together to cultivate curious and confident problem solvers prepared for the challenges of tomorrow. I am honored to work in a district that has community as its foundation. I am proud to be Liberty.
