About Westar

Welcome to Westar! Westar features an educational program developed to prepare students for college and graduate study in the fields of science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics (STEAM). In addition to subject-specific learning, STEAM learning aims to foster inquiring minds, logical reasoning, and collaboration skills.
 

PROJECT-BASED LEARNING 

Students learn and apply grade-level skills in math, reading, science, and social studies to make learning meaningful and engaging. 

PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS 

Students learn through hands-on inquiry to think critically and develop innovative solutions to complex issues that affect their lives and community. 

MULTIPLE OPPORTUNITIES Students are provided a latitude of opportunities to express their own unique gifts and talents through fine arts, band, choir, NJHS, robotics, and athletics.
